In an effort to provide more entertainment choices over the colder months, the 42 Maple art gallery will host the Cabin Fever Concert Series, slated to start on Nov. 13. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Boone and Melanie Safka, a legendary folk singer, are two who will perform for up to 50 people in Bethlehem.

Co-curator Angel Larcom and Casey Bonilla, who helped schedule the musicians for their stop in Bethlehem, talked about the concerts earlier this month.

Megan Jean and the KFB will perform on the 42 Maple stage for the first concert. Steve and Lena Boone are scheduled for the second concert, which takes place on Dec. 12. The third show features Amy Speace on Feb. 24. March 11 brings the Ghost of Paul Revere to Bethlehem, followed by Melanie’s show on April 9.

Boone is most famous for his work with The Lovin’ Spoonful. The band joined the Rock and ROll Hall of Fame in 2000. As Larcom noted, Safka “started her career at Woodstock in 1969.”
